Kinshasa, April 13th, 2021 (CPA) – The union of African shippers’ councils (UCCA) and the multimodal freight management office (OGEFREM) are organizing from April 19th to 24th in Kinshasa, an international conference focused on the implementation of the African continental free trade area (ZLECAF), indicates a statement from OGEFREM received on Monday at CPA.According to the statement, the two-day conference will be held on the sidelines of the 12th UCCA General Assembly and its Steering Committee meeting.
These meetings, notes the source, will allow UCCA members to study the mechanisms that will contribute to the facilitation of commercial trafficking and free trade in the area as well as to decide on strategies to make their institutions work this period when the Coronavirus pandemic affects several economies across the planet.
