ECCAS: Community Court of Justice to be set up soonKinshasa, April 18th, 2023 (CPA).- The Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) is planning to set up a community court of justice, the ACP learned on Tuesday from a source in the Ministry of Regional Integration of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
« The Economic Community of Central African States is considering setting up a community court of justice. The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) should work through bilateral relations to have the seat of this court, » the source said, quoting the commissioner in charge of the promotion of gender in ECCAS, Yvette Kapinga, at the end of an audience with the minister of state Antipas Mbusa Nyamwisi.
Yvette Kapinga said she had requested the involvement of Minister of State Mbusa in issues concerning the regional organisation, before announcing that a humanitarian conference organised by ECCAS would soon be held in the DRC.
