500 households in the Mbuala and Revolution neighbourhoods receive food kitsKinshasa, march 21st, 2023 (CPA).- 500 households in the Mbuala and Revolution neighbourhoods in the municipality of Kimbanseke 3, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, selected because of their vulnerability, benefited on Saturday from food kits, according to a communiqué from the Ministry in charge of Social Affairs, which reached CPA on Monday.
It is with a view to fighting against food insecurity in these neighbourhoods that the Ministry in charge of Social Affairs, in collaboration with the international NGO « World Vision », preceded to the delivery of food, said the Minister in charge of Social Affairs, Humanitarian Actions and National Solidarity, Modeste Mutinga.
He thanked the World Vision officials for this food assistance which is in line with the social vision of the President of the Republic Félix Antoine Tshisekedi « People First ».
